Enock Atta Agyei Announces Launch of Soccer Academy
Ghanaian professional footballer and Horoya AC winger Enock Atta Agyei has officially announced the launch of Enock Agyei Soccer Academy (EASA) — a new football development academy based in Koforidua, Eastern Region, dedicated to unearthing and nurturing Ghana’s next generation of football talent.
The announcement marks a significant moment for youth football in the Eastern Region — an area historically underserved by structured football development infrastructure despite producing generations of gifted players. EASA aims to change that, providing young players aged 8 to 21 with access to professional-grade coaching, structured development pathways, and the kind of environment that gives talent a genuine chance to reach its ceiling.
“I know what it means to dream of becoming a professional footballer in Ghana without having the right platform. This academy is the platform I wish I had when I was young.”

Enock Atta Agyei
Professional Footballer · Winger · Horoya AC
Born on 5 January 1999 in Buduburam, Ghana, Enock Atta Agyei is a professional Ghanaian footballer with over a decade of competitive experience spanning Ghana, Tanzania, and Guinea. A Ghana U17 and U20 international, he has won multiple honours including the Ghana Super Cup with Medeama SC and back-to-back league titles with Horoya AC.
Enock’s football story began with Windy Professionals FC in the Ghana Division One League, where he announced himself to the country with a stunning 17 goals in 29 appearances — a return that earned him the Most Promising Player award and attracted the attention of Medeama SC, one of Ghana’s most ambitious clubs at the time.
Three seasons with Azam FC in Tanzania followed, where he developed his game against high-level opposition in the Tanzanian Premier League. He then made the move to Horoya AC in Guinea — one of West Africa’s most prominent clubs — where he has gone on to win back-to-back league titles and earn recognition in CAF continental competition.
It is that journey — from a young player in Buduburam to a continental-level professional — that has shaped the vision and philosophy of EASA.
A Career Built the Hard Way
What makes Enock’s story compelling is not just the success, but the path taken to reach it. There were no shortcuts, no inherited advantages — just talent, hard work, and the determination to keep going when the road was difficult. It is a story that resonates deeply with thousands of young Ghanaian footballers who have the ability but lack the structure to develop it properly.
Windy Professionals FC
17 goals in 29 appearances in the Ghana Division One League. Named Most Promising Player of the season.
Medeama SC
Joined Ghana Premier League giants Medeama SC. Won the Ghana Super Cup in his debut season.
Azam FC, Tanzania
Three seasons in the Tanzanian Premier League, developing against top East African competition and maturing as a professional.
Horoya AC, Guinea
Signed for West Africa’s most prominent club. Won back-to-back Ligue Nationale titles and featured in the CAF Confederation Cup, earning a Team of the Week nomination.
Enock Agyei Soccer Academy
Officially launches EASA in Koforidua, Eastern Region — bringing professional football development back home to Ghana.
Why Koforidua
The choice of Koforidua as the academy’s home was deliberate. The Eastern Region capital is a vibrant, growing city with a passionate football culture — and yet it has never had a dedicated, professional football academy of this nature. Enock sees that gap as both a responsibility and an opportunity.
The academy is based at 14 Pensec Road, Koforidua, with training facilities designed to provide players with the environment they need to develop seriously. Plans are in place to continue improving the infrastructure as the academy grows.
“Koforidua has football talent everywhere. What it has been missing is the right structure to turn that raw talent into something real. That is what we are here to provide.”
— Enock Atta Agyei, FounderWhat EASA Offers
From day one, EASA will run four structured programmes covering every stage of a young player’s development from age 8 through to 21. Each programme is designed with a clear progression in mind — building technical foundation in the youngest age groups, developing tactical intelligence in the middle tiers, and preparing elite-level players for professional football at the top.
Academy Programmes at Launch
- Juvenile Programme — Ages 8–12. Ball mastery, coordination, and love of the game.
- Youth Programme — Ages 13–15. Tactical development, physical conditioning, competitive fixtures.
- Under-17 Programme — Ages 15–17. Pre-elite training, regional tournaments, scout exposure.
- Elite Programme — Ages 17–21. Professional-grade environment, sports science, direct pathway to top clubs.
A Message to Young Players and Parents
In announcing the academy, Enock addressed the players and families of the Eastern Region directly — acknowledging the sacrifices families make to support their children’s football ambitions, and committing to ensuring that investment is matched by the seriousness and professionalism of the academy’s environment.
“To every parent who has watched their child kick a ball and wondered whether there was a real path forward for them — there is now,” Enock said at the launch. “And to every young player in Koforidua and the Eastern Region who believes they have what it takes — come and show us. The door is open.”
Enrolment for the inaugural 2026/27 season is now open. The academy is accepting applications across all age groups, and trials will be held in June 2026. Places are limited, and early registration is encouraged.
